New guaranteed interest rate for traditional insurance with VFF Pension

The council of Volvoresultats Försäkringsförening (VFF) has decided to lower the guaranteed rate for new savings from the current 1.5% to 0.7% from October 1, 2016.

The change affects all payments made after October 1, 2016 to Insurance policies at VFF.
The reduction of the guaranteed interest rate is implemented to protect Volvoresultats Försäkringsförening’s solvency and to provide the conditions for good investment returns in the current low interest rate environment.
Payments made in the past are not affected by this change, and retains the guaranteed interest rate prevailing at the respective premium payment.

The amendment does not change our current bonus rate. As of June 1, 2016 our current bonus rate is 4 % for occupational pensions and 9 % for private pension.
